MACLC Press Conference Calls for Greater Accountability March 22 at City Hall

On March 22, 2011 Muslim community advocates were joined by elected officials, civil and immigrant rights organizations, and community supporters at a City Hall press conference to voice concerns over the NYPD’s use of “The Third Jihad” a controversial film about Islam and Muslims as part of its training program. Despite a letter from Commissioner Kelly acknowledging the issue, MACLC remains seriously troubled by the lack of transparency on this matter.
